![]() Rather, it occurred due to hard work and perseverance in a seemingly impossible task. However, this type of win didn’t happen by chance. This milestone for our country can be attributed to all of the work that was put in to lessen voter suppression to give underrepresented groups a chance to showcase their voice. For an Arab-American woman like myself, it is inspiring to witness the first woman become Vice President, and important to know that our leaders will do their best to help unite us.
